No whining. Even the $50 per month premium for unhealthy folks is better than a huge number of Americans have access to.

We all know who is behind this new law: physicians. What is needed is coaching on diet, nutrition and exercise, not a batter of tests. People don’t get fat because they don’t know that being fat is unhealthy. Most obese people are in the lower income group, who cannot afford fresh. whole nutritious foods - the cost of which have skyrocketed over the last 20 years. They must go for the cheaper, highly processed foods, which are higher in fat and sodium, but low in nutritional value. It’s a sad state of affairs when it’s cheaper to feed you family at Mickey D’s than it is to feed them a balanced meal at home. But that’s where we are in America.
