EcoFactor: A gold rated eco-friendly monitor.
Demand for eco-friendly gadgets is of utmost importance in todays world. Hence, Lenovos recently unveiled Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT) Gold rated monitor is a pleasant welcome. EPEAT is nothing but a system that evaluates products based on certain environmental requirements. In this case, the ThinkVision L193p monitor met all the vital criterias to earn the EPEAT Gold status.
The 19-inch monitor’s 160/160 degree viewing angle, high contrast ratio, five milliseconds response time and support for high bandwidth digital content protection and analog and DVI-D signals provide users an enhanced viewing experience with a stand that delivers flexibility for positioning the display. Not just that, this monitor also is the first product in the EPEAT record to use post-consumer recycled contents in its plastic parts. Bravo Lenovo!
The Dark Side:
I don’t see a flaw to this gadget. In fact, I think the move made by Lenovo will be a benchmark for the other PC makers, which is just what our world needs.
